Teaching 3 - Communicating EU Cohesion Policies for the Territories

Cohesion Policies of European Union represents the main tool for investment policy of European Union aiming to reduce and overcome the inequalities in the regional development of the different Member States.
The module aims to offer a contribution to the training of students through a theoric and practical path of research programmes of Cohesion Policies for the territories, with the development of a Civic Monitoring action on the financed projects, as a specific engagement dimension.
- 1. The context of the European Union's Cohesion Policies, the goals, the priorities, and the programmation circuit of European funds;
- 2. The activation of participation tools as a form of engagement in communicate the impact of European policies for the territories;
- 3. Funds communication as a relationship between European institutions and local dimension;
- 4. The active involvement of citizens in analizing the impact of cohesion policies as a form of engagement.
