CoEUr is a multi-level training project:
  1. "Communicating Europe: institutions, representation and public opinion" (54 hours). The main training modules uses the most current research in the field in order to explore national and international studies that emphasise the importance of communication in creating European citizenship, but also in considering this sector as a source of job opportunities for younger generations.
  2. "The European public sphere" (9 hours). The second module will deepen the field of European Public Sphere and its connection with Digital tools. Facing the issue of disinformation and opposing to the fake news, the module investigates further the tools needed to collect and monitor EU Fact Finding and checking (i.e. the quality of institutional information).
  3. "Communicating Europe Lab: tools for European research and planning" (9 hours). This teaching module addresses the issue of identifying the writing of competitive and non-competitive projects, also addressing the opportunities offered by European research.
  4. "Communicating European Cohesion Policies for the territories" (9 hours). This teaching module analyzes data and information on interventions of cohesion policy and their impact on territories.
 
The various training activities involve European communication experts that will attempt to transfer transversal skills to students. The various experts and communication officials will be testimonials of their own experiences, in order to bring students closer to the world of European communication.
CoEUr wants to add value to the European Studies sector of the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin and to create an open network, at a national and supranational level.
CoEUr aims to prepare students who wish to work in the European public communication sector, in intergovernmental institutions and in international media corporations.
